October is Here!

October in Maine is a busy, colorful month, an apple-picking, hay-riding, corn-mazing, leaf-peeping, candy-eating, trick-or-treating month. I hope you are all enjoying October as it unfolds where you are!
 
In addition to all the seasonal fun, we're excited to share the special October things we've been working on. We're all about the New Stuff this month: New flavors, new fragrance, new gifts, new breast-cancer-awareness products, new formulation, new freebies!
 
New Flavors
When September rolls around, I can't wait to start making the seasonal balms again. We're talking candy corn, pumpkin pie, spooky juice, apple spice, and black licorice. This year, we decided that Caramel Apple should join our other seasonal favorites! When buttery, sugary goodness wraps around a tart green apple, it truly makes a delicious treat (and lip balm). Try one and let us know what you think!

New Fragrance
Fall and winter are for baking, and that telltale spicy aroma is what lets everyone know there's something good to eat! I couldn't wait for the seasonal spiciness to begin, so we've added a special Limited Edition fragrance just for autumn. Pumpkin pie combines spicy pumpkin with a buttery crust that's a heavenly scent in hand cream, luscious in lotion, scrumptious in scrubs! New Gifts
Once we found that delicious pumpkin pie fragrance, we decided the Jack-o-Lantern balm was feeling lonely and needed its own gift set. These spooky black bottles are so cool for our lotion (which shares the pumpkin pie fragrance), and we love the look with the black balm jars in this Jack-o-Lantern set, shown at right.

So many of you have requested balm in tubes lately that we made a special gift set just for you! Our two most popular Halloween balm flavors (jack-o-lantern and candy corn, also at right, on top) are wrapped together in a clear bag with tag and tulle bow. We love the bright caps and colorful designs!

New Benefit Balm
October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We have a whole line of Pink Lady products available year-round, and we donate $1 from each product sale to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

This year we wanted a new product just for October, so we put together this new Pink Cupcake balm in tube form, with bright pink cupcake, cap, and balm. We'll be donating $1 from each of these balms sold through October 31.

Question: Do your products have parabens in them?

Answer: No! We have recently reformulated our sugar scrubs and now all of our products are paraben free! We will have more details coming soon in our blog, so please check there. We welcome you to subscribe there...it doesn't cost anything, and we update several times a week!
